  1. My niece said it best about my Mom. Mom was defiantly tough but sweet, demanding but also caring. She was loved by all of us and I miss her very much.

From Lara, “My sweet and feisty grandmother gained her angel wings last night. She will be dearly and greatly missed by the entire family. I am so blessed to have had her in my life this long and I’m so thankful for all the wonderful memories I made with her. She taught me so many things and I will treasure them forever!”

  2. Clara accepted me as her daughter in law more than 3 decades ago. She was a tough, no-nonsense woman, for sure. She never had a problem speaking her mind. She could intimidate me at times but also inspired me to be a better person through her example. She was also extremely generous and thoughtful. She always wanted to help others. I’ll be forever grateful to her for having raised her son, my husband, to be the man he is today, someone she could be proud of. She put a hot dinner on the table every night, kept a tidy home and held a job all with 6 kids and being a military wife for a large part of her life. She will be very much missed.

  3. I don’t have any memories with my grandmother but I wish I would’ve known her. If she is anything like my dad then she was an amazing person & woman. Rest easy & we’ll get to know each other on the other side.
