  8. My story is belated but heartfelt all the same. Arnold or Swindola, as my Dad always called him, was a childhood friend of my Dad.(Douglas Brown) My Dad loved his home town of Robbins and knew everyone! He went to town every day B4 he went to work and visited his local friends
Swindola was the post master and my Dad never missed an opportunity to talk with him. They sang together in a church community chorus. I grew up with his Daughters, Sandy and Roma and Swindola treated me like a Daughter! A good, Christian man with a heart of gold. After his lovely wife died, my Aunt Louise, who attended the same church, would bake cornbread for him and I made many deliveries! Even person puddings!! These are just a few of my memories with dear Arnold. He is greatly missed!
