Donald Eugene Hussey, 65, passed away Friday, June 7, 2019.
Funeral service will be 4:00 PM Monday, June 10, 2019 at Smyrna United Methodist Church, with Reverend David Woodhouse officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Eugene grew up on a farm in Moore County. He enjoyed working and providing for his family. He was a machine operator for Technimark, Inc. Eugene liked to watch sports on TV, especially football and NASCAR racing. He was a quiet man, that greeted everyone with a smile. He was proud of his family, especially the grandchildren. Eugene was a son of the late Nellie Hart Hussey.
Eugene is survived by twin daughters: Crystal Hussey and fiance’ Steven Andrews, Christine Maness and husband Steve; son: Timothy Hussey; father: Odell Hussey; grandchildren: Hunter Hussey, Tyler Maness, Abby Hussey, Rebecca Maness, Braylon Hussey sisters: Barbara Jean Hernandez, Sandra Williams; brothers: Johnny, Robert and Tony Hussey; many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Kennedy Funeral Home and at other times at the home of his son, Timothy Hussey, 5289 US Hwy 220 South, Asheboro, NC.
Kennedy Funeral Home is serving the Hussey family.
