Dorothy "Dot" Caddell Gladden Moss

Dorothy “Dot” Caddell Gladden Moss, 97, of Carthage, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025 at St. Joseph of the Pines.
Born in Moore County, on August 8, 1927, she was a daughter of the late William R. and Darthy McPherson Caddell.
Dot worked at Proctor Silex for many years as an assembler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first and second husbands: Coy Gladden Sr. and Julius Moss; a son: David Lee Gladden; brothers: Buck Caddell, Grady Caddell, Alex Caddell, Thomas Caddell; sisters: Nina Richardson, Virginia Weimerskirch, Willie Nell.
Dot is survived by her son: Coy Gladden Jr. and wife Nancy of Carthage; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 1 pm at Cross Hill Cemetery in Carthage. Ms. Dot will be available for viewing from 3-5 pm on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Fry & Prickett Funeral Home.
