Douglas Allen Beckner passed away unexpectedly the morning of August 1, 2026, at his home.
Scooter was born in Fayetteville, NC, on February 7, 1994, to his loving mother, Sonya Renea Beckner, and his devoted grandparents, Fred and Becky Graub.
He is preceded in death by his uncle, Glenn Allen Beckner.
He is survived by his mother, Sonya Renea Beckner; his grandparents, Fred and Becky Graub; his two brothers, David Allen Beckner and Paul Anthony Such, Jr.; his uncles, Michael Beckner and Brian Beckner; his Aunt, Tammy Sullivan; several cousins, a niece, and two nephews.
Scooter was a creative, sensitive soul with a strong passion for music. He started teaching himself how to play the guitar at the age of 11. He not only enjoyed playing, but singing and writing his own songs.
He will always be remembered for his love of the guitar – for which he was a prolific player. He also had a strong, beautiful voice which he used to his advantage when creating music.
He leaves behind a loving family who will forever remember his bright, beautiful soul.
A memorial service will be held at Fry & Prickett Funeral Home on August 15, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.

I miss you and love you so much ❤️ “the only time it rains in holllywood is when somebody cries”… it’s been raining in North Carolina since you left me here and my eyes won’t stay dry… only you would understand this.
