Esther K. Danley, age 86, died Tuesday (11/13/2012) at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday at Summer Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Eugene Ussery officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Moore County she was the daughter of the late Herbert & Rosa Russell Kennedy. She worked as a nurse's aide at St. Joseph for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arl Danley; a sister, Nellie Barber and two brothers, Rufus Kennedy and Marvin Kennedy.
Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Bare & husband, Tim of Snow Camp; three sons, David Danley & wife, Gail of Carthage; Darrell Danley & wife, Donna of Carthage and Dan Danley & wife, Jessie of Browns Summitt, NC; two sister, Betty Peterson and Doris Carroll; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Thursday at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home.
