Joyce Faye Muse, 77, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 20, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

A native of Moore County, Faye was the daughter of the late Vasel Bruce Diggs and Monty Mae Hicks Diggs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, L.C. Muse (2011); her sons, Jeff Muse and Mike Muse; her daughter, Missy Muse; her sister, Barbie Davis; her brother, Darrell Bryant; and her grandson, Dusty Williamson.

Faye will be remembered for her kind spirit, her love of knitting, shopping, gardening, and caring for her client family with her job. She especially enjoyed visits to the beach, seafood broils, and cherished every moment spent with her family.  Her warmth, humor, and devotion to those she loved will be deeply missed.

Faye is survived by two daughters, Amanda Kelly, of Carolina Beach and Brandie Muse (Jeremy) of Carthage; son, Jonathan Muse (Clarissa) of Aberdeen; daughter-in-law, Tammy Muse of Carthage; sister, Debra Furr of Charlotte; two brothers, Allen Diggs (Vivian) of Carthage and David Diggs; caretaker and granddaughter, Hannah Muse along with 15 beloved grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2025, at Hall’s Memorial Church with Pastor John Stinnett officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until service time at the church.  Burial will follow at Cross Hill Cemetery.
