George Samuel “Sam” Lambert, Jr., 72, of Whispering Pines, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 21, 2025, at FirstHealth Hospice House.

A native of Pennsylvania, Sam was the son of the late George Samuel Lambert and Mary Jean Metz Lambert. He built a successful career in the aerospace industry, working with both Ingersoll-Rand and BE Aerospace, and ultimately retired as Director of Purchasing.

For 35 years, Sam proudly held season tickets for Penn State Nittany Lions football. He was an enthusiastic fan who cherished attending games with his family and friends. Sam also loved to travel with the love of his life, Geraldine. Together, they explored many places, with Florida especially Ft. Lauderdale, and Miami being among his favorite destinations.  Sam had a kind and generous heart, especially toward his dogs, who brought him great joy throughout the years.

Sam is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Geraldine “Geri” Lambert of Whispering Pines; daughter, Allison Isenhart (Jeremy) of Aberdeen; sisters, Bonnie Brown of Stanton, Virginia and Debra White of Luray, Virginia; brother, Craig Lambert (Lisa) of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania; grandson, Cameron Bair; his two sweet chihuahuas, Charlie and Nova and his pug, Lili-Mei; and grand pups, Dutton and Bella.
