Hayden Doc' Rosser

Hayden 'Doc' Rosser, age 79, of Carthage, died Thursday, October 17, 2013 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
A funeral service will be 2:00 pm Sunday at Carthage United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Cross Hill Cemetery.
A native of Lee County, he was a son of the late J.W. Rosser and Martha Jones Rosser. He retired from Norfolk-Southern Railway Systems where he worked as a conductor for 37 years. He was a member of Carthage United Methodist Church and volunteered with the food pantry. He enjoyed golf, water skiing, and camping.
He is survived by: his wife of 50 years Judy Angel Rosser; three brothers John 'Pee Wee' Rosser and wife Mae of Sanford, NC, Herbert H Rosser and wife Carolyn of Raleigh, NC, Robert L Rosser and wife Barbara of Sanford, NC; sister Pansy Rosser Benoit and husband Walter of Springfield, MA; sister in law Inez Wallace Rosser of Sanford, NC; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 PM Saturday at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home.
