Helen Amos Reynolds 87, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, August 14, 2015, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, August, 16, 2015 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with the Reverend Lindsay Collins and Reverend Robert Kidd officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:30 PM in the Chapel of the church. Helen was a native of Stokes County and a graduate of Sandy Ridge High School. She loved the Lord and served her church in many ways. Helen was a loving wife and mother and enjoyed spending time with family. She was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking and flower gardening. She worked in the textile industry at Williams Hosiery Mill and Ithaca Industries.
Helen was a daughter of the late Luke and Lottie Hawkins Amos. She was preceded in death by her husband: Elijah Millard Reynolds, brothers: Claude Amos, Harold Amos, Aldean Amos ; sisters: Frances Dodson, Alvarie Rock, Earlene Joyce.
Helen is survived by son:Thomas Reynolds, of Robbins; sisters: Virginia Faust and husband Alvis, of Greensboro; Joy Hooper, of Newport News, VA.; brother: Dennis Amos and wife Jackie, of McLeansville; and many nieces and nephews..
