Henry Davis

Henry Cook Davis, 86, of Carthage, passed away on  August 22, 2014 at Pinehurst Nursing Center in Pinehurst.

 

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Sunday (December 7, 2014) at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church.

 

A native of Moore County he was a son of the late Robert and Flossie (Bryant) Davis. He was a US Army veteran and worked most of his life as a heavy equipment operator.

 

He was preceded in death by: a son Henry Tebe Davis and his wife, Margaret Garrison Davis and 11 brothers and sisters.

Henry is survived by:  a daughter Pepi Brown of Seagrove; four sons, John Davis, Victor Davis,Christopher Davis, Marcus Davis all of West End; Brother, Bob Davis of West End; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
