Henry Lunday, age 69 of Aberdeen died Tuesday (January 6, 2014) at his home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday at Beulah Hill Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Darrell Williams and Curtis Barbery. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native Moore County he was a son of the late Robert Lee and Mary Wood Lunday. He was a US Army veteran and served during the Vietnam war.
He is survived by: his wife Kathlyne Snyder Lunday; daughters Anna Waremburg, Crystal Burket and husband Travis; sons Steve Waremburg and girlfriend Crystal Tripp, Les Waremburg all of Aberdeen; brothers Dayton Lunday and wife Martha of Pinebluff, Michael Lunday of Southern Pines, Rod Lunday and wife Patty of Carthage, Richard Lunday and wife Vickie of Columbia, SC; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Powell Funeral Home from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday.
