Hilda Hardy Robinson

Hilda Hardy Robinson, age 87, died Sunday, April 26, 2015 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be 3 PM, Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Reverend Eugene Ussery, Reverend John Chavis and Reverend Brent Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Hilda was a native of Moore County. She loved the Lord and her church. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, gardening and doing puzzles. She loved her dog “Ollie”. According to her family she was “The Best Cook In Town.” Hilda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was a daughter of the late William F. and Lelia Mae Crissman Smith and was preceded in death by husbands, Charles Eugene Hardy, Sr. and John Barrett, a son, Charles Eugene Hardy, Jr and 6 siblings..
She is survived by husband, of 10 years, Homer Robinson; daughters: Marcia H Presley, Beth Tidwell, Iris Spivey, Lorraine Davis, Janice Hardy; sons: Allen Hardy, Doug Hardy; one sister, Doris Waddell; 19 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends, Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM at Emmanuel Baptist Church and at other times at the home.

Hilda was a very loving person whom I loved very much. She was a wonderful mother-in-law for 15 years. I will miss her terribly, but I will never forget her wonderful smile, and her out of this world cooking. She is so blessed to have a wonderful Christia
Hilda was a great lady, always had a smile on her face. I loved to talk to her and will miss seeing her around town, and the grocery store. I know I will see her again one day as will all of her family…but she is in a much better place….
Hilda was such a beautiful lady, a wonderful person and I enjoyed worshiping with her and Homer. Hilda will really be missed for her loving ways, I am blessed to have know her.
