James Earl “Jimmy” Williams 54, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family and friends.

 

Funeral services will be 2 PM, Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Pine Grove Baptist Church, with the Reverend Burton King and Reverend Adam Beddingfield officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

 

James was a native of Moore County and worked as a truck driver and in the construction industry for many years. He loved his family and spending time with them, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle.

 

James was preceded in death by his mother: Louise Bruce Williams; brother: Ernest Williams; grandparents: Claude and Lessie Williams, Ernest and Elizabeth Bruce.

 

James is survived by his wife, Beamon, of the home; daughters: Kisha Davis, of Eagle Springs; Amanda  Smith, of Coleridge,  Brandi Williams, of Eagle Springs; Sarah Roberts, of Carthage; sons: James Earl Williams Jr., of Eagle Springs, Ernest F. Williams, of the home; father: Claude Earl Williams; brothers: Larry Williams, of Robbins; Carson Williams, of Eagle Springs;  Lewis Williams, of Eagle Springs; grandchildren: Dakota Greene, Tylor Greene, Maddison Deaton, Samuel Gibson, Alissa Gibson, William Smith, Joshua Smith, Ethan Smith, Landon Smith, Kamdyn Williams, Joseph Frable, many nieces and nephews.  

 

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Kennedy Funeral Home and at other times at the home.

 

Memorials may be made to FirstHealth Hospice, 150 Applecross Road, Pinehurst, NC 28327 or Pine Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 2459 Pine Grove Church Road, Eagle Springs, NC 27242.
