James Comer, 54, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, in Virginia.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Bright Light Baptist Church with the Reverend Ralph Voncannon officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Rest Cemetery.
A native of Moore County, James loved fishing and hunting for arrowheads, hanging out with friends and lifting weights. He was a loving son, father and brother. James was preceded in death by father: Barnie Comer, Sr.; mother and stepfather: Doris and Pete Horner; brother Barnie Comer, Jr.
He is survived by a son: Ricky Elliott, a daughter: Anna Comer, brothers: Donnie Horner, Ronnie Horner and wife Karen, Sammy Comer; sister Robin Baber and husband Danny; grandchildren:
Adrienne, Lilly, Henry and Alister Elliott; nieces: Kayly Scott and Brianna Seawell; nephews: Jeremiah Comer, Michael Bell and Keith Allen.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Kennedy Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Donnie Horner, 221 Gardenia Road, Robbins, NC.
Memorial may be made to Bright Light Baptist Church, 541 Plank Road, Robbins, NC 27325.
