James G. Kivett, age 82 of 123 Bethlehem Church Road died Monday (August 28, 2006) at his residence.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church conducted by The Reverends Brad Harrison, Terry Burris and Gerald Hussey. Burial will follow with military honors in Cross Hill Cemetery.
A native of Moore County he was a son of the late Carl Milton and Macon Mae Gainey Kivett. He served in the US Army and was a WWII veteran. Early in life Jim operated a coal, ice and wood business and later owned and operated Kivettâ
