James "J T" Thomas Davis

James Thomas “J.T.” Davis, 88, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026 at FirstHealth Hospice House.
He was born August 28, 1937. He worked for Klopman Mills, at a sawmill and later as a farmer. J T was an avid quail hunter.
He was a son of the late Elbert and Daisy Green Davis and was preceded in death by daughter: Katrina Davis; sister: Eva Williams, Shirley Branson; brothers: Clarence and Marvin Davis.
J T is survived by his wife Inez; daughter; Karen Davis of Wilmington; sister, Vivian Norwood of Seagrove, 3 nieces, 3 nephews and lots of friends
Graveside service will be 2 PM, Friday, January 9, 2026 at Smyrna Church Cemetery, with the Reverend Arnold Comer officiating.
