James N. Morgan

James N. Morgan, age 79 of Carthage died Sunday, February 22, 2015 at St. Joseph of the Pines in Southern Pines.
A graveside service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Rock Hill Evangelical Friends Church Cemetery conducted by Pastor Tony Seawell and Rev. Tom Powers.
A native of Moore County he was a son of the late Azra and Annie Williamson Morgan. He worked with Stanley Furniture for 40 years before retiring.
He was preceded in death by brothers: Floyd, Lester, Joseph, Leonard, Clarence; sisters Louise Morgan and Gladys Brown.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jeanette Garner Morgan; daughter: Sandra Weathersby and husband J.D. of Pinehurst; son: James Allan Morgan and wife Betty of Seven Lakes; grandchildren: Taylor, Madisyn, McLendyn, Savannah, Aynsleigh and Harper; sisters: Pauline Priest, of Carthage; Dorothy Williams and husband Wilburn, of Eagle Springs, Delores Lassiter and husband Arnold, Beulah Ritter and husband Richard, Betty Doris Garner, all of Robbins; brothers: Kenneth Morgan and wife Kay of Carthage, Roy Morgan of Carthage; sisters-in-law: Barbara Morgan of Carthage, Joyce Gaines and husband Bobby of Sanford, Tessie Garner of Highfalls.
The family will receive friends at the home and following the service in the fellowship hall.
