Janet Wallace Brewer, age 61, died on Friday at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday (10/6/2013) at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. William Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Moore County, she was the daughter of the late Dewey Green Wallace and Pauline Hicks Wallace. Janet was a loving wife and mother and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She received great comfort from her daily devotions. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Randy Wallace.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Arthur Brewer; a daughter, Teresa Ream & husband, Tom of Holly Springs; two sons, Mike Brewer & wife, Lisa of Robbins and David Brewer & wife, Anna Gazda of Atlanta, GA; and three grandchildren, Marissa Ream, Tristan Ream and Dalton Brewer.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:30 PM on Saturday at Fry & Prickett Funeral Home in Carthage.
