Jason Matthew Sandy, 41, of Mebane, NC, passed away Wednesday, May 6th, at Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington.
Jason was born in, NC on May 11, 1978, a son of Cathy Furr and Theron Sandy. Jason had a warm heart towards others. He enjoyed making people smile and would give you the shirt off his back. His personality was one that displayed love. He also enjoyed fishing as well as going to the mountains and especially spending time with his fiancé, Shanta. Jason was preceded in death by his Mawmaw, Betty Sandy, his uncle, Sammy Sandy, and his cousin, Emily Hamilton.
Jason is survived by his fiancé, Shanta Irby; his parents, Theron Sandy and Cathy Furr; his brother, Theron Sandy, II; his sister, Crystal Gonzalez; two half-sisters, Elizabeth Martin, Anna Sandy; half-brother, Luke Sandy.
A family graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm in the Johnson Grove Cemetery where he and his cousin, Emily will both be laid to rest.
