Jeffery English

This chapter of Jeff's journey ended on August 18, 2024, after a brief illness.

Jeff was born in upstate New York on November 25, 1947. He served in the United States Army, where he served honorably for six years. After leaving the military, he went to college, earning his bachelor's degree in psychology. His compassion, gentle nature, beautiful heart, and soul led him to a life-long career working with children and adults with varying disabilities and challenges. Family, friends, and co-workers will miss his warm smile and humor.

He has been reunited with his parents, Sam and Genevieve English; his brothers, John and Kurt English; his sister, Kay Menichetti; mother-in-law, Susan Fabbeo; brother-in-law, Tony Fabio; sister-in-law, Marianne Mosley; and beloved dogs, Charlie, Rosie, and Sugar.

Jeff will be missed by his wife of over 28 years, Joyce English; sister, Judy Mulligan of Endicott, NY; daughter, Hester English of Endicott, NY in love Kristen Wadsworth (Nigel) of Aberdeen and Skye Wadsworth of Beaufort; grandchildren, Jordyn Dunson (Zach) of Aberdeen, Shianne Wadsworth of Charleston, SC; Zachary Stransky of Fulton, NY; Patrick Stransky of Fulton, NY, Elizabeth Stransky (Calum) of Coeymans, NY, and Bridget Stransky of Baldwinsville, NY; and great-grandchildren, Carson, Paxton, and Harper. Jeff will also be missed by his faithful companions, Bebe and Teddy.

A celebration of life will be held on November 23, 2024, beginning at 1:00 pm at Cameron Village Community Center, 1690 Loop Rd, Raeford, NC 28376.
