Jerri Lee Kennedy

Jerri Lee Kennedy 80, departed this life  Sunday, March 30, 2025 at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Jerri was the beloved daughter of the late John Raymond and Cora Maness Kennedy.   She was born in Long Beach, California on December 26, 1944.  After graduation from Elise High School,  she graduated from Sanford Business College. She began working at Perdue  Poultry, due to hearing loss she changed her career path to factory work at Milliken & Co.; working there until the plant was closed. She then went to work at Klausner Furniture for many years until retirement.    Jerri was a strong woman of unwavering faith, kindness and grace. She put the needs of others before her own.  She was a full time caregiver for her brother and was a loving and patient wife, mom and grandma.  She was precious to her family and will be forever missed.  Jerri enjoyed reading mystery novels and watching TV mystery and crime shows.  Her pets were always getting “special treats”, she loved them very much.  Jerri was preceded in death by son: Harold Kennedy, brothers: Jimmy Kennedy, David Kennedy. 

Jerri is survived by her husband Frankie, daughter: Jeanette Frazier; grandchildren: Dustin Kennedy,  Audrey Frazier; brothers: Wayne Kennedy, Wesley Kennedy; sister in law: Teresa Kennedy; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Graveside service will be 3:00 PM, Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at Pine Rest Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Johnny Greeson.
