Jerry Moore of Robbins (84) went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 28, 2026 surrounded by family at his home. Jerry was born April 23, 1941 to Riley and Connie Moore of Robbins. He was a twin to brother Gary who didn’t survive their birth.

 Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Dempsey Hussey, Doyle, Dexter (John) and Gary Moore, sister Dorothy (Dot) Garner and infant daughter Terri Gwyn. 

Jerry is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jacqueline J Moore, sons: Gary Todd Moore (Donna), Jeremy Samuel Moore (Lynn), daughters: Tammy M Wicker(Dennis), Karen Rene Kovacs, Sharon K  Kovacs;  grandchildren: Stephen Williams, Hannah Brower, Meagan Maness, Katie Wicker, Nikki Brand, Emma Wicker, Deeanne Perry, Grace King, Gavin Moore, Carson Moore; great-grandchildren: Xavion, Jayla, E.J and Xyon Brower, Ethan Maness, Griffin and Sierra Williams: sisters: Deseree Hussey, Darlene Brewer; brother: Bobby Moore (Mary); many nieces and nephews, who he dearly loved. 

Jerry worked all his life, starting at 14 years old.  He caught chickens, he was a logger with horses, and could train a horse to do anything.  He laid carpet for numerous people. Jerry was a faithful member of Flint Hill Baptist Church in Robbins for over 55 years, he loved his Lord and Savior and his church family greatly. How blessed is our family to have such a wonderful example of a Christian man to walk after, who loved all people and would have helped anyone and anytime. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 pm, Thursday March 5, 2026  at Flint Hill Baptist Church in Robbins, with Brother Zack Garner, Brother Colton Moore and Brother William Hancock officiating. Burial will be at Pine Rest Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1 pm.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Flint Hill Baptist Church, 923 Flint Hill Church Rd, Robbins NC 27325 or First Health Hospice Foundation (Field Hospice Program), 150 Applecross Road Pinehurst NC 28374, who took such care of our daddy these last few months.
