John A. Sabatino, age 86 of Carthage and formerly of Bridgeport, CT died Wednesday (June 24, 2015) at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst.
A graveside service will be 12:30 PM Tuesday at Pinelawn Memorial Park conducted by the Rev. Ray Campbell. The family will receive friends at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home prior to the service from 11:00 - 12:00.
A native of Bridgeport, CT he was a son of the late Thomas and Jennie Minotti Sabatino. He was a US Navy veteran during the Korean War and after the war worked as a machinist.
He moved to Carthage in 2001 with his late wife Olympia Sabatino who passed away in 2013.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Doreen and Dennis Carr of Carthage.
