John Henry Troxler, age 94, died Tuesday at his residence
A cryptside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Pinelawn Mausoleum in Southern Pines with the Rev. Matt Privett officiating.
Born in Rockingham County, NC he was the son of the late William Henry Troxler and Carrie Bailey Troxler. John served his country in the US Army during World War II. After his military service he worked for Carolina Telephone and retired from Sprint with 40 years of service. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by sisters, Margaret Booker and Lillian Barber and brothers, Harvey Troxler and Lonnie Troxler.
He is survived by his wife Elsie Mae Roberts Troxler; daughter, Jeanette T. Speer; one grand-daughter, Jan Gatti & husband, Mike; three sisters, Charity Barber of Carthage, Evelyn Upchurch of Randleman andVirginia Vershore of Illinois; three grandchildren, Kyle, Shelby and Peyton Gatti.
