Joni Lynne Cisneros, age 37, of Carthage, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 19, 2025, at her home.

She was born in Pinehurst on December 7, 1988, to Andrew “Bubba” and Toni Deese Cisneros. Joni graduated from Union Pines  High School. She had a very sweet personality and always lit up the room with her laugh. She was loved deeply by her family, her church, and all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Brandon Cisneros; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Ellen Hussey Deese.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandparents, Andy and Lois Cisneros of Sanford.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
