Josie Honeycutt Clark, age 80, died Friday, October 5, 2012 at FirstHealth Hospice House.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM on Monday, October 8, 2012 at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home with Pastor Marvin Taylor and Pastor Dwayne Quick officiating. Burial will follow at Cross Hill Cemetery in Carthage.
A native of Guilford County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Mary Foust of Greensboro, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lenard Clark of Carthage, a son, Ronald Honeycutt, two sisters, Lula Pontis and Isabel Airington and her brother, James Hodges..
Survivors include her daughters, Rebecca Honeycutt Mikulka and husband, Ronald of Carthage; Jeannie Honeycutt Velazquez and husband, Thomas of Miramar, Florida; sons, Donald Honeycutt of Dover Delaware and Steven Honeycutt of Burlington, NC; sisters, Jeanette Lewis and husband, Wesley; Geraldine Doggett, Ethel Smith and Jenelle Glass; a brother, Lonnie Foust and wife, Pat; nine grandchildren, Logan, Carly, Tina, Robbie, Joe, Faith, Jessica, Ryan and Christin; and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 PM on Sunday at Fry & Prickett Funeral Home in Carthage.
