Julie “Gypsy” Phillips Brock, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, July 10, 2017.

 

Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, July 14, 2017 at Shiloh Presbyterian Church, Raeford, NC, where she was a member. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1 PM.

 

Julie worked with computers and retired from Erico Inc. She loved the Lord, her family and her church.  Julie was a singer and she also played the piano, guitar and the bass.  She was choir director for her church and was a member of a trio, the Echoes.  Julie like to travel but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a daughter of the late Robert Louis Phillips, Sr. and Marie Smith Phillips Ritter.

 

Julie is survived by daughter: Kimberly Brock Fielder-Jones and husband Kevin; son: Joseph Patrick Brock and wife Cindy; grandchildren: Hunter, Shelby, Chase, Skylar, Zoie, Zander; 2 great grandchildren; sister: Lauren Brock and husband Wayne; brother: Robert Phillips, Jr.; her beloved boston terrier “Rooster”  and many friends.
