Karen was a big sports enthusiast. She followed her son's sporting events from little league through high school with admirable dedication. She loved to play golf and struggled with the inability to continue doing so when physical limitations made it impossible. She also loved to sail, enjoying many summers sailing the Caribbean with her first husband Arthur. She was fortunate to have traveled extensively over her lifetime visiting many parts of the US, Europe, S. America, Australia, and New Zealand.
Karen was a very outgoing individual and was often referred to as a 'character'. She was a people person and would strike up a conversation with anyone. Her many friends and family will surely miss her.
