Kenneth Lee Kennedy, age 84, died Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Firsthealth Hospice House in Pinehurst NC
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 23 2014 at Robbins First Baptist Church with the Reverend Kenneth McNeil officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Rest cemetery in Robbins
A native of Robbins North Carolina, he was the son of the late Norman Lee and Lillie Poe Kennedy. He was employed by Milliken Textiles for 45 years as a technician. In retirement he practiced woodworking crafts creating many useful pieces that can be found the USA and Europe.
His survivors include his wife of 65 years, Opal Callicutt, son: Kevin D. Kennedy and wife Maria of Rockville Maryland, grandsons: Cameron and Connor, son: Jonathan Neal Kennedy and wife Kelli Collins, and step-son AJ McDonald, of Summerfield NC and son Brian Kennedy and wife Kristy of Sophia NC, grandson: Cade.

It was a pleasure to have worked with Kenneth at Milliken and to know the family. Kenneth always had a smile and could always make you laugh. I will cherish my memories of him. Kenneth was always so proud of his family.
