Larry B. Robbins, age 61 of Robbins died Thursday (December 25, 2014) at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

 

The family will receive friends at Kennedy Funeral Home on Saturday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM and other times at the home of Joanie and Dallas Cox, 319 Lineberry Road. Services will be private.

 

Born and raised in Asheboro, Larry moved to Moore County when he married in 1982. He was a graduate of  Nashville Auto-Diesel College and retired as a diesel mechanic from Division 8 of the Department of Transportation. He was a past member of the Oasis Shrine and was an active member of the Elise Lodge #555. Larry was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed traveling extensively and hunting.

 

He was preceded in death by his father Bowden W. Robbins.

 

He is survived by: his wife Kinza Lineberry Robbins; son Kim Robbins and wife Ashley of Robbins; mother Annie Mae Robbins of Asheboro; sisters Barbara Foster and husband Charlie of Denton, Janice Linthicum and husband W.C. of Randleman; brothers Terry Robbins and wife Vanessa, Kenny Robbins and wife Shelia all of Asheboro.

 

Memorials may be made to: Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607, or to the Elise Lodge #555, P.O. Box 66, Robbins, NC 27325.
