Lois Warf Cisneros

Lois Ann Warf Cisneros was born May 2nd, 1939, and passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family Friday, January 16th, 2026. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Coy and Lula Warf, her brothers, Coy Warf, JC Warf, Charlie Warf, Richard Warf, by her sisters, Mary Warf Wood, Evelyn Warf Hairgrove and Cathy Warf Jordan, by her daughters, Susan Blalock and Stephanie Burton, by her grandsons, Brandon Cisneros and Andrew Trump and by her granddaughter, Joni Cisneros.

She is survived by her husband, the love of her life, Reyes (Andy) Cisneros. She is also survived by her son, Andrew Cisneros (Toni), daughters, Becky Gilliland, Lori Thomas (Mitchell), Angela Thompson (James), Diana Brueckner (Fred), her brother, Jack Warf (Judy), and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, cousins, and many nieces and nephews.

Lois and Andy celebrated 67 years of marriage in November 2025. During those 67 years, Lois moved all around the US as a military wife. She fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a Registered Nurse at the age of 50 and retired from the Pennick Home after numerous years of service. Lois was an avid traveler and loved seeing new places. She was proud to say that she had visited 49 states and 5 countries. She and Andy traveled across the United States in their RV and made memories that will last forever. Lois was an amazing storyteller and loved sharing stories of her travels and of her family. She loved to write and document events. She authored several books that she shared with her children and grandchildren, documenting family history, sharing her favorite memories, and sharing a few of her prized cookie recipes. 

Lois loved big and had a heart of gold. This was evident in her and Andy’s annual Easter Egg Hunt that lasted 37 years. This event was attended by immediate family, extended family, and anyone that Lois had adopted into the family. This event would regularly have over 100 people attend, and you would always find Lois in the middle of the crowd laughing, entertaining, and making sure everyone felt welcomed. 

Lois had a smile that lit every room and the most beautiful blue eyes that would shine with her love when she spoke with you. Lois was intentional with her love, and it showed in her gifting. She would often personalize gifts or give items that had a deep meaning and could be passed down generationally. Andy affectionately described her as his diamond and loved her passionately, which was evident to anyone around them. She and Andy were frequently found flirting and teasing each other throughout their marriage, and he equated their 67 successful years of marriage to their love and the fact that they never stopped having fun together. 

The family has chosen to forego a funeral service and instead will honor Lois’ life in a private moment at Andy’s home. We ask that all family and friends honor her life by loving as Lois loved, with her whole heart, fully and unconditionally.
