Ms. Maigen Nikole Ocasio of Whispering Pines passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019, in UNC Hospital at the age of 18.

Maigen was born in Cumberland County on June 11, 2001, to Alex & Marca Ocasio. Maigen will always be remembered by her lovingness towards others as well as her sweet personality. Maigen enjoyed lollipops, swimming, nakedness, and sugar kisses. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Angel L. Ocasio; her great grandmothers, Florence Redding and Nira Hinkle; her great grandparents, Delores and Jose Garcia,  Maria and Alexander Ocasio, and Robert and Marjorie Evans.
Along with her parents, Maigen is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Ian Hinkle and his wife, Chelsea of San Diego, CA, Brianna Ocasio of Chapel Hill, George Ocasio of Spring Lake, and Angel Ocasio of Whispering Pines; her grandparents, Carmen and Patrick Evans of San Diego, CA, Julia Hinkle of Pawleys Island, SC, James and Elaine Hinkle of St. Pauls; her great grandfather, James Hinkle of Sumter, SC.

A visitation will be held between the hours of 6pm and 8pm on Thursday, August 15, 2019, at Crumpler Funeral Home, 40229 US 1 Hwy, Aberdeen, NC 28315.
A funeral service will be held 4pm the following day at the funeral home.
