Mark S. Bibey

Mark Stephen Bibey, age 58 of Carthage died Saturday (February 18, 2017) at Duke University Hospital in Durham.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Holly Grove Primitive Baptist Church conducted by Elder Ted Morton and Pastor Steve Johnson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Moore County he was a son of the late Johnny Paul and Cordella Whittington Bibey. Mark worked for Proctor Silex and also for Moore Appliance. He received many different certifications from Sandhills Community College and other schools and was a very good appliance technician.
He was preceded in death by his brother Dennis Bibey.
He is survived by his wife Debra Davidson Bibey; children Brian Bibey (Shaylyn) of Carthage, Jeffery Bibey of Carthage, Matthew Bibey (Miranda) of Aberdeen, Amanda Bibey (Brian Jefferies) of Cameron, Justin Bibey of Carthage, Zachary Bibey of Carthage; sisters Gail Barber of Aberdeen, Regena Nugent (Patrick) of Cameron, Roxanne Marks (Lawrence) of Carthage; Marlene O’Hara of Whispering Pines; nine grandchildren.
The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 and other times at the home of Roxanne and Lawrence Marks, 2438 Niagara-Carthage Road, Carthage, NC.
