Mary E. Artman, age 84, died Monday at Tara Plantation in Carthage.
A native of Marion County, WV she was the daughter of the late Walter & Mary Sak Plachta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Artman; a son, Charles B. Artman and brothers, Stanley Plachta and John Plachta.
Survivors include her son, Gary A Artman and wife, Karen of West End; a sister, Agnus Davis of Farmington, WV; a brother Joseph Plachta of Farimont, WV and two grandchildren, Charles & Cody.
Services will be at a later date in West Virginia.
