Resided in: Pinebluff, North Carolina

Mary Margaret Fraley Clark, 82, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 27, 2025, at the FirstHealth Hospice House.

A beautiful childhood in Rapid City, South Dakota, Mary Margaret was the daughter of the late Ray and Gladys Mathews Fraley.  A graduate of the University of Nebraska in Education, she dedicated 27 years to teaching at Centennial Elementary School in Littleton, Colorado, where she brought sweetness and consistency into countless young lives.

Following her retirement, Mary Margaret returned to her home in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Staying close to her family in later years led her to Texas and eventually Pinehurst, North Carolina.

Mary Margaret was a talented quilter and enjoyed watercolor painting, crocheting, and other creative pursuits.  She found joy in teaching and attending Bible studies and spending time playing games with her grandsons. Deeply compassionate, Mary Margaret also used her time tutoring dyslexic children in Moore County, helping them reach their full potential as students.

Those left behind who are charged to live by her example of the Lord being their strength are her beloved husband of 47 years, Arland “AR” Clark of Pinebluff; daughter, Holly Frank (Eric) of Pinehurst; sister, Carol Ann Fullmer of Longmont, Colorado; brother Ray Fraley (Sandy) of Anthem, Arizona; and three amazing grandsons, Will, Wade and Walker Frank.

A funeral service will be held November 15, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church Pinehurst, 7373 NC-211, West End NC 27376
