Matthew David Hussey, 32, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018.
Memorial service will be 3:00 PM, Monday, September 10, 2018 at Kennedy Funeral Home with the Reverend Darrell Wright officiating. The family will receive friends following the service and at other times at the homes of David Hussey and Carolyn Owens.
A native of Moore County, Matthew loved his family especially his son, Austin. He taught himself how to play guitar and enjoyed playing and singing. Matthew enjoyed driving and talking with his friends. He also loved his dog, Roxie. Matthew was preceded in death by grandparents: Dempsey and Johnsie Hussey, Johnny and Pauline Norris; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Surviving are son: Austin; father: David Hussey: mother: Debbie Singleton and husband Bill; sisters: Dorenda Baxter and husband Todd, Megan Broadway and husband Khris; nephew: Dakota Baxter; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends
Kennedy Funeral Home is assisting the Hussey family.
