Nellie G. Marley

Nellie Gray Marley 90 , died Thursday, December 6, 2012 at the Baaseiah Family Care Home, Biscoe, NC.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Crossroads Baptist Church, with the Reverend Mike Holyfield and Reverend Dave Wensil officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Marley was a native of Moore County. Nellie was a homemaker, worked in the local textile industries and helped run the family farm . She was a Sunday School teacher for over 60 years at Rock Hill Friends and Robbins First Wesleyan churches. She was a daughter of the late Clay and Aggie Hussey Maness. She was preceded in death by her husband Laney R. Marley.
She is survived by her son, Larry Marley and wife, Brenda of Eagle Springs, grandson Erik and wife Dawn, great grandchildren Bailea and Lana Grace, brother Jim Maness.
The family would like to express their thanks for the loving care given by the staff of Baaseiah Family Care and FirstHealth Hospice.
The family will receive friends from 6- 8 PM, Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Kennedy Funeral Home, Robbins, NC and at other time at the home of Larry and Brenda Marley.
