Richard S. Boger

Richard Shelton Boger, age 67, died Thursday at Duke University Hospital in Durham.
A graveside service will be 2:00 pm Monday, March, 21, 2016 at Eureka Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Ed Boyce officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
Born in New Bern, NC, he was the son of the late Richard Albert Boger and Pauline Williams Boger. He was the owner and operator of Carthage Radiator Service. He also had previously worked as a police officer in Carthage and did long distance truck driving and automobile transfers.
Survivors include a daughter, Autumn Boger & husband, Samuel of Carthage and a son, Mark Boger & wife, Susan of Cameron; one granddaughter, Angie Boger; special friends, Richard and Janie Johnson; and his two beloved dogs, Jack and Detloft.
The family will receive friends at the home of Angie Gilman, 2193 Vass-Carthage Road, Carthage, NC 28327.

so sorry for your loss..just learned of his passing..we were childhood friends in New Bern,there was 3 of us (Bill Robey,me and Dickie who hung out together. Bill is still in New Bern and I live in Ohio.Lots of memories and stories
