Robert Lee Turner Sr.

Robert Lee Turner Sr. (Bob), 71, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026. 

He was born on July 14, 1954, in Frankfurt, Germany, to the late George and Gerta Turner. He served his country honorably for over 20 years in the United States Army, living a life defined by duty and service. Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Turner.

After his military career, Robert was known for his desire to help others and for never seeking recognition. His stories and steady presence will be deeply missed by those who knew him.

Robert is survived by his wife, Shirley Turner; his children, Penny Ramos and husband Richie, Pam Schaible, Richard Ward and wife Melissa, Robert Turner Jr. and wife Katie; and his brother, Danny Turner and wife Beverly.

A Funeral with Military Honors will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
