Roger S. Thomas of Jackson Springs passed away in his home on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at the age of 59.
Roger was born in Moore County on December 10, 1961 to the late Charlie and Geraldine Johnson Thomas. Roger worked for Tim Tanner Development as a heavy equipment operator, eventually owning his own business. He enjoyed riding four wheelers, and growing his own garden. He will always be remembered as a honest hard working family man. Roger was always there for anyone needing a hand. Along with his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Wayne Greene and his nephew, Matthew Chance Greene. He was a loving father and grandfather.
He leaves behind his daughter; Britney Fields, and her husband, Jason; Brandon Thomas; his daughter, Megan Thomas; his grandchildren, Chasity, Dawson, Dallas, Alianna, and Brooklyn; his estranged wife, Jeanette.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 23, 2021, at Crumpler Funeral Home, 40229 US 1 Hwy, Aberdeen, NC 28315 between the hours of 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm.
