Ruby L. Gwynn

August 10, 1943 ~ December 25, 2016
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday at Browns Chapel Christian Church near Robbins with The Rev. Jeff Karnes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Randolph County she was one of twelve children born to the late Cauley Linzie and Jeanette Frances Fisco Burns. She worked for many years in textiles with Millikan Mills and Ithaca. She also worked for Walker Shoe Company and Purdue.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Gwynn who died in 2013; sisters Annie Burns and Margaret Burns; brothers Roy Burns and Clayton Burns.
She is survived by her daughters Lurinda Vicente and husband Federico of Cameron, Lindy Gwynn of Cameron and Glenda Ingram and husband Michael of Myrtle Beach; sister Judy Nance of Robbins; brothers Virgil Burns of Newton, Clarence “Newby” Burns of Norman, Richard Burns of Coleridge, Harold Burns of Sanford, Harvey Burns of Ramsuer and Billy Burns of Coleridge; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Fry & Prickett Funeral Home from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday and other times at the home.
