  1. Papa:

We already miss you dearly, you were such a light to the world and your love for God and people was so evident to those lucky enough to have known you.

There is no doubt that when you fell asleep here that you woke up in Heaven with our Heavenly Father and Granny waiting on you. While we selfishly long to hear your laugh again, or your jokes, or your (lovingly) brutal honesty, we know this is not the end. We will meet you on the beautiful shore. While we can’t hold you in our arms any longer, we hold you in our hearts.

With love forever and ever, amen.

  2. To the best Daddy a girl ever had. Thank you so much for all the wonderful memories that you were a huge part in my life and how you always took care of me and Mama. I love you Daddy, it was my privilege to care for you these last few years. I know how much you missed Mama and while we will miss you, I know that you’re happy because you’re with Our Heavenly Father and Mama again. I’ll see you again someday. I love you Daddy. Sharon

  3. Sharon and Family,
So sorry for your loss. When I stop in at the bank I always ask about S.L. you might not but we were related to your date on the Muse side and he would always call me cousin. I know you all will miss him and you all will be in my Prayers. Leta

  4. What an amazing daddy, husband and Uncle!! I have missed your laugh and stories. You were always quick to let me know how much love you had for me. I will forever remember all the lessons and experiences you shared with me. I know you are lightening up heaven as you did here. Love you Unc.!
