Ted H Kanoy, age 84, died Friday, April 24, 2015 at St. Joseph of the Pines.
A memorial service is planned for 2:00 PM on Monday, May 4, 2015 at Doubs Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tom Currie. Private inurnment will be in the church cemetery.
A native of Moore County, he was the son of the late John Shepard Kanoy and Rosa Garrison Kanoy. He was a US Army veteran and a T. V. & electronics repairman by trade. He was well known for his musical talent.
Survivors include his son, Rickey T. Kanoy; a sister, Johnsie K Collins and two grandsons, Rickey T. Kanoy, Jr. (Amber) and Kendall Kanoy both of Carthage.
