Todd Alan Goodline, age 58, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022, at First Health Moore Regional Hospital, with his loving wife by his side.

Todd was born in South Bend, IN, to the late Donald Harry and Norma Fay (nee Nussbaum) Goodline in 1964. He found his way to Moore County, NC. He married Christie Rumple on June 15, 2001, and became a wonderful step-dad to Christopher. He had a gift in fixing mechanical engines of many kinds and was considered a master mechanic. Todd is fondly described by his family as a caring and patient listener. He was very knowledgeable, had a good sense of humor, and was a great cook and made an awesome beef stew with rice and a mean meatloaf dish.

Todd is survived by his wife, Christie Goodline; his stepson, Christopher Rumple (Shannara) of MD; his sister Lori Goodlineof Mishawaka, IN, and his brother Dave Goodline (Cyndy) of Boston, MA.

  1. Cuz I miss you already. Say hi to all the rest. Of the family. I will call Christie soon and will keep in touch with her . You were these best cuz

  2. Where Mechanics Go When They Die
Where do mechanics go when they die before I tell you where I tell you why. You see when a mechanic dies he don’t go to heaven or hell and that’s because his soul is too hard to sell
Satan don’t want cuz he says they’re too mean and St Peter won’t let him in cuz grease is a bitch to clean With ratchets and wrenches and such he don’t want wings cuz they don’t come with a clutch
Well the man on the moon needs help pulling the thing across the sky so that’s the place where all the mechanics go when they die They’ve got pulleys generators and engines of every size to keep that thing glowing and moving across the night skies
And every now and then the light will go out but they get her up and going and back on route So its true then that mechnics never stop working even in death they’re up there smirking.
Todd, I cannot even begin to find the words to say how much of an impact you made on our lives in the short time we had the pleasure of knowing you. It was truly our honor to call you our friend. You will be greatly missed!!
    Love, Kuntry & Danielle

  3. Condolences to all the Family. Back in the late 70’s -80’s we were neighbors on Florence Ave. We lived on the corner of 13th St. and your house was at the end, near 17th St. I’m truly sorry to see this news. My Mom, Starr, passed away almost 4 years ago, Mother’s Day. I take care of Dad, Joe, with his Dementia still here in Niles, MI. Hugs and Strength go out to all of you.

    Linda Kachoris

  4. Christie,

May you find strength and comfort in your memories that will guide you through this difficult time. You and your family are in my prayers.
