Virginia Marley Moore

Virginia Marley Moore 87, died peacefully at her home on Sunday July 20, 2014 surrounded by her family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday July 24, 2014 at Pleasant View Friends Church with the Rev. Jacelyn Jones and Rev. Don Luellen officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Rest Cemetery.
A native of Moore County. Virginia was a member of Pleasant View Friends Church where she held many positions while she was able to attend. She loved the Lord and the first thing she did every morning was read her Bible. She retired from Moore County Schools. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She was the daughter of the late William Plennie Marley and Flossie Stutts Marley. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Ernest Moore; a God granddaughter Courtney Willett, sisters: Ruth Maness, Edna Garner and Julia Marley; brothers: Grady Marley, Everett Marley and Graham Marley.
Virginia is survived by her God-daughter Vicki Willett of Robbins, God grandson Clay Willett and wife Jennifer, and one God great granddaughter: Addison Willett; sisters: Emily Owens and husband Bobby, Barbara Reynolds and husband Wendell, of Robbins, Naomi Brown of Bennett and brother; Norman Marley of Robbins, several nieces and nephews and many special friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Wednesday July 23, 2014 at Kennedy Funeral Home in Robbins.

So sorry to hear about Virginia’s passing. I will never forget her or Ernest. I loved them so much. They took me to church when I was a baby and I went to Church there until I left. I have sweet, loving and precious memories of her. God bless each of you.
