He was a sweet kind man.
Bickett, a man who loved Jesus, the Pittsboro SDA church who brought him to his walk with Jesus, and later the New Life SDA church of Chapel Hill which continued with his unconditional acceptance of others, and his growth and love for Jesus.
Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your family and loving and accepting us and our church for attempting whatever it takes to bring people to Jesus. You encouraged us in whatever we attempted.
Your giant heart and leadership will be missed but forever remembered.
Your “son” in Jesus,
Pastor T
I remember Mr Bickett as the conscientious staff member with Chatham County Schools as well as the collector of the finest automobiles. I will remember him as the quiet, dedicated, Christian brother-in-law of my sister, Cornelia, and loving father of a schoolmate, Billy.
May God grant the family peace and comfort in the days to come.
We are so sorry to hear about your loss. What a wonderful reunion it will be at the return of Jesus. God bless.
Bickett-a kind hearted hard working man, who loved his family and friends and was always ready to help others.

Thinking of you all as you celebrate Uncle Bickett’s beautiful life. He will live in your/our hearts forever. I know that my dad has many wonderful memories of Uncle Bickett. He has shared many times that Uncle Bickett was the most generous and kind man to all. There are no words to embrace the legacy that he has left behind. He was so blessed to have you all in his life-you took such great care of Uncle Bickett. May he rest in peace with Aunt Isabell. May you find Peace in the relationship that Uncle Bickett had with God.
Peace in Christ,
Mr Bickett will be missed, He was a wealth of knowledge especially on the older Chrysler cars, always helped me and gave great advice, I always enjoyed our conversations and tried to learn from his wisdom. Mike and Debbie Daurity
