  4. I was a part time student who worked at SCC during the summer months for 3 years in the business office and with Neva Upchurch. Mr. Livengood always remembered me and asked about me when I returned each May. He was so kind and thoughtful each time I would see him. I send prayers to the family and I know he is rejoicing in heaven.

  5. I had the honor and privilege of working with Wayne from the time I was hired at SCC until he retired. He was one of the finest, kindest and most helpful people that I ever worked with. He also had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone. I never saw him get upset or angry with anyone who needed assistance with anything audio visual or technical. He will be missed by everyone who knew him, I’m sure. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

  6. So sorry for your loss. Wayne helped me and my dad on some projects, he was a very good person. Loved his music.

  8. Wayne was my favorite teacher at West End High School and a fellow brother in Christ. Glad we were able to have dinner together when I was in N.C. a few years ago. We will meet again in Heaven around the throne of God.

  9. Wayne was one of the nicest guys that our Heavenly Father ever let live on earth. Deepest sympathy to Alice and all the family.

  10. I first became acquainted with Wayne when I started working at SCC in the 70’s. His office in audio visual was directly across from mine on the second floor of Stone Hall, so our paths crossed many times. He was always willing to help out. I never saw Wayne without a smile on his face. He was a true southern gentleman. My sincere sympathy to all of Wayne’s family. Jim Soufas
