William D. McNeill

Mr. William Douglas Mcneill of Aberdeen passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2019 in the FirstHealth Hospice House at the age of 61.

   Mr. Mcneill was born in Hoke County on July 28, 1957 to the late Prince and Hattie Campbell Mcneill. William enjoyed playing the guitar and fishing. Along with his parents, William was preceded in death by his brothers, Prince Mcneill, Jr., John Henry Mcneill, Jimmy Lee McNeill, Kenneth Mcneill.

   He leaves behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Teah Mcneill of Aberdeen and Crystal Mcneill of Wagram; his brothers, Glenn Mcneill and his wife, Evelyn of Fayetteville, Alexander Mcneill and his wife, Vickie of Ashboro, Ronald Russell and his wife, Bertha of Hamlet; his sisters, Mattie McPhaul of Fayetteville, Lucille McKoy of Winston Salem, Magnolia Cole of High Point; his grandchildren, Makayla, Zaden, Damien, Kirah, Ny’Zaria, D’Vontez, Jaee’Nikole and Sha’mirah; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

   The family will receive friends at the family’s home between Friday, July 5th and Sunday July 7th.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 8th at New Testament Church of God in Fayetteville with Bishop Glenn Mcneill officiating.
