William Darrell Hussey

Darrell Hussey, 66, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019 at his home.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday, May 20, 2019 at Smyrna United Methodist Church, with Reverend David Woodhouse officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM and following the service in the Family Life Center.
Darrell was a native of Moore County. He loved farming, saw milling and being outdoors. He drove a truck for Townsend Poultry, Inc. for 40 years. Darrell enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren. He was a member of the Men’s Sunday School Class and the United Methodist Men at Smyrna. He was a son of the late Coy and Virginia Callicutt Hussey and was preceded in death by grandson: Cole Hussey; brothers: Johnnie and Daniel Hussey.
Darrell is survived by his wife of 44 years, Louise, of the home; son: Timothy Hussey, of Robbins; grandsons: Logan Hussey, Koy Hussey; sisters: Esther Williams and husband Farrell, of Eagle Springs, Carolene Moore and husband Tommy, of Robbins; many nieces and nephews and friends.
Kennedy Funeral Home is assisting the Hussey family.
